The area.

The vineyard extends for 8 hectares at the foot of the Berici hills, in the Vicenza alluvial plain that includes Lonigo.

The Colli Berici, located in the heart of Veneto, are a fascinating hilly landscape rich in history and wine culture. These hills, with calcareous soils and a mild climate, offer ideal conditions for growing vines, producing distinctive and high quality wines, appreciated for their elegance and complexity.

The soil.

The soil, due to its position and composition, offers the ideal conditions for growing vines that produce exceptional wines.

The soil of the “Murassi vineyard” is loamy – sandy (69% sand; 18% clay and 13% silt); there are 4,000 plants per hectare – trained using the double inverted Guyot system. To obtain a production in line with the production specifications of the Prosecco designation of origin, approximately 18-20 buds per vine are left at pruning.

Grapes.

Prosecco Murassi is produced exclusively with Glera grapes, carefully selected to guarantee freshness, elegance and distinctive quality.

Glera grapes, the basis of Prosecco DOC, are grown in the hilly lands of Veneto and Friuli. Characterized by large and golden bunches, these grapes give Prosecco its freshness and liveliness. Thanks to their high acidity and fruity notes, they produce aromatic, elegant and pleasantly balanced wines.

Quality.

The company promotes agricultural sustainability, adopting advanced techniques and certifications that guarantee quality and respect for the environment.

The company adopts production techniques compliant with the regional regulations for integrated agricultural production and adheres to the National Quality System for Integrated Production (SQNPI). The products guaranteed by this certification, recognized by the European Union (EC Regulation 1974/2006), are distinguished by the brand shown on the back label which represents a bee.
